Wal-Mart
Sometimes I wish that I wouldn't run into any of my students while I'm out in the "real world". I saw two of my summer school students at Wal-Mart on Monday (they're both failing), and of course they give huge hugs and act all buddy-buddy. Which is fine, until the next day in class when they feel like they're your friend and act like they're invincible. I know this isn't always the case, but with these boys, I wish I'd hidden behind the Tums display.

Don't feel bad, they've earned their grades.
Been there, done that.
