On our way south, we hit a crazy snowstorm in Weed/Dunsmuir. On our way north, it had just dumped a ton of snow on those same mountains. I've never seen Lake Shasta so full, or so much snow on this pass.
The Welchs gave Ellen a beanie baby seahorse, and she is in love. Oh, and yes. Yes, she is sleeping in a cardboard box. My parents love to provide the very best for the grandkids.
The highlight of Ellen's trip was seeing Jeremy's bearded dragon, Thor. She stared at Thor for hours (possibly literally), and was elated when she got to touch him.
I promise, I do not do this when I'm on the phone. Neither does Jon. I have no idea where it comes from. But the girl could definitely train for a marathon this way--she will never run out of words, and she clearly doesn't think about the miles while she's on the phone.
Jessie headed to Texas today, and requested family pictures to show to Great-Grandma Fluffy. While Kim & Maeby are capable of taking perfectly normal (if intentionally cheesy) pictures, we are not.
