Vampire?
Yogurt (again)
*sidenote: a popsicle is not a good treat for a one-year-old. It's more like a torture-treat that just ends in tears.
Pep Squad
Today we met with our 75 (!) members after school to go over our constitution, dress code, and learn a few cheers before our first game on the 4th. Of course my co-sponsor had to go make a call about uniforms (or lack thereof) right at the point where the girls were supposed to learn the chants/cheers. So guess who had to teach them? Yeah. You can stop laughing now. Seriously. Kim, Jessica, Cindy--I wasn't that bad. And I didn't have to do any motions. Just the yells. I can tell you're still laughing.

Blah
I got the stomach flu Sunday night. Not fun. Jon picked up a prescription for me at around midnight that helped, thankfully. Yesterday was saltines-and-gatorade day, and I think today is going to be that weird food day--where you eat whatever sounds good, no matter what time of day it is. For example, I'm eating Malt-O-Meal for breakfast. Obviously I've wanted this sometime in the past, because I had a box, but I have no idea how old it is. But it sounded great.

Pizza vs. vegetables
Target pharmacy
They opened a Target right by my house a couple of weeks ago (so excited), and I decided to try their pharmacy--anything beats Wal-Mart or Walgreens, right? Emily's prescriptions were ready in 20 minutes, and they gave me this gift bag full of freebies. There's more stuff in the bag--it was awesome.

Sickie
Emily had to leave daycare today with a 102-degree fever. We went to the doctor and she has an earache, the start of a second, and a double-eye infection. We left with a shot & three prescriptions. Too bad she wasn't acting sick. I mean, she was cranky last night, but she has diaper rash and is getting a third tooth on bottom. She still slept all night (11 hours). I guess now she'll really feel good.

Naked baby
This is what Emily looked like when I picked her up from daycare, plus shoes (well, she was awake, too). I think she had a blowout with her first outfit, and then got lunch all over her spare.
Cute things she has started: bobbing her head & singing songs to herself, reading to herself, and coming to take my hand and "dragging" me to something she wants done or to show me. Tonight while we were playing in her room she thought it was fun to close the door and then get me to come over and open it. Oh, and when I told Smalls to get out of Emily's room and she did, Emily said, "Good girl" (her version). Adorable!
