Cannon Beach

Emily HARDLY like her new (to her) sand toys.

Q: How can you tell if you're raising little girls?

A: Check the soles of your shoes.

(For those who can't tell, that's a crown sticker and a jewel stuck to my flip-flop)

She's getting closer...

Sorry about the blur...it went from my phone to facebook to the blog. I'll attempt better video this weekend.

Lighthouse, Beach

Ellen LOVED the water & waves. LOVED. She would giggle each time they would come in and leave again. She walked me back and forth, and would have walked me straight out to sea if I'd let her. This was one of her favorite activities (other than banging two sticks together)--walking in the waves.

Emily did love the water, too...just after she built a few things.

This caption would have to be something along the lines of, "I don't want to say 'cheese.' Just let me play in the sand. Go take more pictures of Ellen dragging Mom around."

Emily specifically wanted this picture here, by the big rocks. She's a big rock collector. And we couldn't take these puppies home.

Yes, Kim and I ARE Lewis & Clark.

My husband is an awesome photographer

These aren't even edited!

Downtown Long Beach

There was a small plot of sand in the backyard that Emily and Curtis thoroughly enjoyed.

Really? Talk about multi-tasking. If only a laundromat was attached. And maybe a car wash.

Magical, magical pinwheel
