When you're trying to look for cool things about Louisiana (in the midst of a very humid day, especially for April), you can always look to the lizards...

what's that, an anole? he looks such a bright green - portland gray must make ours look duller.

As a matter of fact, we did get a discount on our car insurance (these lizards sure are handy). About the type, Sarah, I was going to ask you what it was. We usually see chameleons down here and boring brown lizards (in fact, this green one was chasing a brown one behind one of our shutters). He seems to have an unusually long tail to me. Maybe he's hoping to get rid of that brown tip.
