My mom bought us four of the Pinkerton books. They are kids books about a Great Dane named Pinkerton. He almost looks like Kronk, except he is mostly white with a few black spots. Still, close enough to be hilarious. Kronk enjoyed reading them, too. They are pretty funny books.
