Mardi Gras parade #1

As part of our sevant evangelism, our church passes out free water and hot chocolate at the two Mardi Gras parades that we have here in Shreveport/Bossier. Yesterday was our first time to attend, mainly because I picture the chaos of the Rose Parade or various Disneyland parades, and I'm not a big fan. But we go about 2 1/2 hours before they start, so it wasn't bad at all. I actually had a good time--the best part is convincing people that it really is free.
This is our "base" where the hot chocolate was made and the water trailer was.
I tried to get a picture of where on the parade route we were--Hooter Hill.
Jon and I passed out two wagonfuls of water (4-5 cases each)
Emily had a great time, even though it was pretty cold.

Looks like something I would like to do. Nice.
