Monday adventures, part II

THEN, my principal let me leave work at 2, and we headed to Lincoln City. It was the first time either of us had been to the coast since we moved to Louisiana...6ish years.

Sunny....60s...light breeze...

Emily declared that the sand was, "SO jumpy!"

Then Emily decided that every puddle was for stomping.

Ellen thought the sand was VERY cool. So cool that it deserved some clapping.

Check out the shoes after the combo of puddle-jumping and sand flinging. Except Cindy. Cindy, please do NOT look at the shoes that you gave her.

Behold, the seashell.

The glorious seashell.

After dinner & taffy from Mo's, we drove around a little neighborhood just north of Lincoln City. Jon found some gorgeous sunset shots.

There were also the mind-bending reflection shots.

And really, what's a trip to the beach without a little elk sighting?
