As we expected, Emily is a super-helpful big sister/mini-mom. She loves to help with every aspect of Abby's life, and is very sweet & gentle with her. She gives lots of kisses, retrieves diapers, wipes, pacifiers, blankets, etc, and is an expert baby holder. And she has a bit of a protective streak.
When Janeisa, our pastor's wife, was holding Abby at the hospital, Emily walked up to her and said, "Um, make sure you don't take that baby home because she's our baby."

That is so funny!
"Make sure you don't take that baby home..." so cute! I love how these big sisters are with their new baby. My girls still love to "love on" Ellie and it stresses me out. Now that Ellie is a bit bigger it's easier to let the girls love her but we always have to keep on the look out for feet and elbows that are flying around. You've got 3 beautiful girls!! Congrats and welcome to the club. You'll love it and hate it but mostly you'll thank God for blessing you with such a job as being these girls mommy!
