Emilyism

When Emily goes to bed, she's not allowed out at all. She knows that she has to wait until 9:00 to go to the bathroom again (otherwise she'll try ever 5 minutes). If she comes out, she gets a swat. ALSO, there's been a lot of talk of going first recently...first I'll put Ellen to bed, I'll put Emily into the tub first, someone will be first into the stroller or car, etc.

Me: Emily, were you out of your room?
Em: Yes (after denying it a few times--we're still working on that).
Me: Are you supposed to be out of your room?
Em: No.
Me: Do you think you deserve a swat?
Em: ...mmmm...Ellen first.
